About SSVIR
The Swiss Society for Vascular and Interventional Radiology (SSVIR) is a non-profit medical subspecialty society whose members are radiologists interested in the exchange of experience in the fields of interventional and/or vascular radiology. Founded in 2001, the society is today led by an executive committee consisting of five members.
The society's goals are quality, professionalism and ethics in patient care. It is primarily active in continuing education, the evaluation of good medical practices, the training of young interventional radiologists, and the promotion of the specialty and its multidisciplinary character.
The society is affiliated with the Swiss Society of Radiology (SGR-SSR).

- Promote professional exchanges and build relationships with similar societies
- Represent the sub-specialty of interventional radiology
